If you are unemployed and aged 17 to 30, and you don't know where to turn, we are here to help you.

Whether you are homeless, have had a problem with alcohol or drugs, or have been involved in crime, whatever the reason, Amber will help you to overcome the demons of your past and build a new future - but Amber will only work if you want it to.

At Amber you will not only have the support of all the staff but also the young people (who we call Amberteers) already at Amber who will immediately help you to settle in and feel part of the Amber family. For that is what Amber will be, your temporary home where you will have a structured programme Monday to Friday and the opportunity to take part in many more activities during evenings and weekends.

During your time at Amber we will help you with qualifications, either at Amber or a nearby college, we will give you the opportunity to take part in activities that you may never have had the chance to do before, such as sailing with the Rona Sailing Project or going on expedition with Raleigh International. We will help you with your CV and job search, and how to get and maintain accommodation that is right for you. Plus much more.
